Supports the mission and services of the center. Established by the Center for Family Unity of Salamanca.

Donor Advised Funds
Mahar Family Foundation Fund
Supports various charitable causes. Established by Francis and Roberta Mahar in memory of Francis, Margaret and Daniel Mahar.

Manual Trust Fund
Supports various charitable causes. Established by Peter Laine.

Olean City School District Foundation Fund
Provides support for programs in and through the Olean City School District. Established by Olean City School District alumni.

Rose Pappas Foundation Fund
Grants are made to or through various organizations to help those who are less fortunate. Established by Betty Pappas to honor the memory of her sister, Rose.

Kaleigh Wilday Endowment Fund
Supports various local charities, with grants awarded on or about November 10, Kaleigh’s birthday. An annual grant is also given to Jamestown Community College for scholarship aid to a graduate of Cuba-Rushford High School. Established by Skip and Greta Wilday as a memorial to their daughter.

Wing Ski Club Endowment Fund
Supports local amateur youth ski racing programs, primarily through the Holiday Valley Training Center. Established by the Wing Ski Club.

Donor Designated Funds
Allegany Community Beautification Fund
Supports projects to retain and enhance the beauty of the Village of Allegany, thus fostering a better sense of community spirit. Established by the Village of Allegany.

Allegany Nordic Fund
Supports enhancement of cross-country skiing on the Art Roscoe Trails of the Allegany State Park. Established by Allegany Nordic, a group of regional cross country skiing enthusiasts.

Carroll Anstaett Olean Little League Fund
Supports the Olean Little League. Established by Carroll Anstaett, who helped organize the league in 1952.

Audible Signals for Olean Fund
Supports the purchase of audible traffic signals for key intersections to aid the blind and visually impaired to safely cross the streets. Established in 2006.

Samuel Costa Endowment Fund
Supports St. Elizabeth Roman Catholic Church, Smethport, PA; St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church, Eldred, PA; and Hamlin Memorial Library, Smethport, PA. Established by Samuel Costa.

Gift Tree Fund
Supports the Gift Tree program (administered by Interfaith Caregivers) which assists the less fortunate by providing holiday gifts to them at Christmas. Established by Carroll and Dolores Anstaett.

Hillview Homes Playground Fund
Supports the Hillview Homes playground in Salamanca. Established by Hillview Homes Public Housing neighbors.

Jamie’s Fund
Provides financial assistance to Holiday Valley snowsports instructors seeking to improve their skills by attending Professional Snowsports Instructors of America training events. Established in memory of Jamie Grzankowski by Robert Shane.

Kothari Family Endowment Fund
Supports the Genesis House, cultural events at Jamestown Community College, Olean General Hospital and the Olean Food Pantry with annual grants and also funds an annual scholarship available to Allegany-Limestone graduates pursuing a health care-related degree. Established by Drs. Ashok and Yogini Kothari.

Mildred Milliman Fund
Annual grants benefit 34 national and local charities, including Olean General Hospital. Established by Mildred Milliman.

Olean Food Pantry Fund
Supports the Olean Food Pantry. Established by the Olean Food Pantry board of directors.

Olean Meditation Center Fund
Supports the construction and ongoing maintenance of a meditation center in Olean, NY. Established by the Olean Meditation Center advisory group.

Luella Potter Endowment Fund
Supports the Southern Tier Catholic School System. Established by a group of parents of children attending STCS to honor teacher Luella Potter for her years of dedication and service as a teacher.

Doris Reisner Endowment Fund
Provides annual grants to 10 local and national charities. Established by Doris Reisner.

Lewis & Doris Reisner Endowment Fund
Supports Olean General Hospital. Established by Doris Reisner in memory of her husband, Dr. Lewis C. Reisner.

St. John Church Endowment Fund
Supports the church’s projects. Established by parishioners of St. John’s Church.

Salamanca Area Senior Center Fund
Supports projects and programs at the senior center. Established by the Salamanca Area Senior Center.

Santa Claus Lane Fund
Supports the Santa Claus Lane program for the City of Olean. Established by the Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce.

Southern Tier Military Support Group Fund
Provides aid to military personnel and their families through the operations of the Southern Tier Military Support Group.

Kay & Oliver Williams/Rushford Endowment Fund
Provides annual grants to eight charities in the Rushford area. Established by Oliver Williams.

Field of interest Funds
Allegheny River Valley Trail Fund
Supports the Allegheny River Valley Trail. Established by citizens who spearheaded the construction of the trail, it was the first fund at the Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation.

Beautification Fund for Olean Community
Supports projects to improve and enhance the beauty of the Olean area. Established by Mildred Milliman.

Dictionary Fund
Supports the Dictionaries for Kids project which provides Cattaraugus County third graders with dictionaries each year. Established by Dahmen Brown and Mary Gallagher.

Paula Flint Fund for the Performing Arts
Supports the performing arts and the promotion of the performing arts. Established in memory of Paula Flint by her sister, Kathy Kinnaird.

F. Donald Kenney Fund
Supports the Southern Tier Biennial juried art show, accompanying solo exhibits and professional and artistic development workshops and lectures. Established through the estate of F. Donald Kenney.

Mountain Sports Fund
Provides scholarship aid for amateur skiers to attend training camps. Established by Gary Talcott.

Visual Arts Alliance Endowment Fund
Supports the visual arts through various means including annual shows, open studios and tours, and art programs in the schools. Established anonymously.

Woodland in the City Endowment Fund
Supports the squirrel sculpture project in the City of Olean and in the future will support the Olean Historical and Preservation Society and plans for a children’s museum. Established by Amy Sherburne.

Unrestricted Funds
Anonymous II Fund
Provides grants to address the most urgent needs of the community. Established by an anonymous donor.

Community Fund
An unrestricted fund to benefit the changing needs of the community. Competitive grants are awarded in two cycles yearly to nonprofit organizations with grant application deadlines May 1 and November 1. Established by the Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation.
