Starting November 1 through November 19, the Allegany-Cattaraugus-Chautauqua Fund for Women will be selling holiday plants (poinsettias and cyclamen), with all proceeds to benefit the Fund for Women (plants will be available the week of Nov 27). Holiday plants may be ordered online or through the mail, with order forms available on the ACC FFW website: https://www.accffw.org/fundraisers-events.
All plants come in 6” foil-wrapped pots and are 16 inches (cyclamen) to 18 inches (poinsettia) tall. Plants will be available for local pick-up, in the tri-county area, the week of November 27th. All who purchase will receive an email with their designated, local pick-up location.
When beginning to plan holiday decorating or thinking ahead about holiday party host/hostess gifts, please consider the ACC FFW (www.accffw.org).
About ACC FFW:
The ACC FFW was established in 2017 to combat poverty in the tri-county area by providing women the opportunity to seek financial assistance for long-term self-improvement, and by promoting philanthropy by and for women. The ACC FFW is a component fund of the Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation, a 501(c )(3) nonprofit organization. Donations to this fund are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.
Established in 1994, the Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation is growing good by connecting donors to the causes they care about most in the region. Grants from the foundation support many areas, including education, scholarships, health care, the arts, community development, human service, and youth development.
