Bailey will design, maintain and monitor the Foundation’s financial, accounting and investment systems, ensuring the Foundation’s donors and benefactors the highest level of efficiency and service.

Most recently Bailey was assistant controller at Five Star Urgent Care in Ellicottville. In that role she supported most aspects of accounting management and internal accounting policies.

“CRCF is very pleased to have Michelle join our staff. Her education and business and accounting experience will provide an excellent level of service to our organization and in turn to our valued donors and fund advisors,” said Karen Niemic Buchheit, CRCF executive director.

Creating this full-time position is part of CRCF’s current strategic plan aimed at not only supporting the current base of donors and funds, but also the future growth of the foundation, Buchheit added.

Bailey also was a staff accountant at McLane Company, Inc. in Longmont, Colorado and a senior accountant for the company in Temple, Texas.

Bailey holds an MBA from St. Bonaventure University and a bachelor’s in accounting from Canisius College. She received the St. Bonaventure Master of Business Administration General Excellence Award and honorable mention for the Eugene F. Kirk Memorial Award for an outstanding finance student in the MBA program.

She is also a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma National Honor Society, the international honor society for AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), which are the top 5% of business school programs around the world.

An Arcade native, Bailey currently lives in Allegany with her three children.
