Grant applications for the next funding cycle of the Community Fund at the Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation are due April 21.
“One of the best things we get to do as a Community Foundation is support important community projects through the Community Fund,” said CRCF Executive Director Karen Niemic Buchheit. “The Community Fund is our foundation’s vehicle for responsive grantmaking that helps startup programs and initiatives that respond to the needs of our community get off the ground.”
Applicants must be 501(c)(3) organizations.
CRCF’s board reviews applications based on the applying organization’s stability, the impact its work has on the community, the feasibility of the project proposed in the grant application and the role a grant from the Community Fund would play in the overall project, Ms. Buchheit noted.
CRCF makes grants from the Community Fund in May and November every year.
Applications are available online at cattfoundation.org under the grant seekers tab, titled “Grant Application Form.”
Applications must be completed online and emailed to [email protected].
