The Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation proudly announces the successful conclusion of another Cattaraugus Gives fundraiser.

This year’s 24-hour online giving event rallied 1,381 donors, raising $315,474 for local nonprofits.

Giving will remain open through Friday, Dec. 6, said CRCF Executive Director Kirk Windus, so that total is expected to continue to climb.

With over $21,200 in prizes available, as well as gift cards to local businesses and sports memorabilia from the Buffalo Bills and Sabres, organizations were thrust into friendly competition beginning at midnight on December 3.

This year’s campaign highlighted the remarkable generosity of donors, said Windus. The community’s support ensures a brighter future for causes spanning youth development, arts, animal welfare and beyond.
